Each year the Her Voice panel brings together a new group of inspiring women to share their experiences in the entertainment industry. This year was another big success, adding a mentorship component and pairing our panelists with selected emerging female filmmakers. The women spoke candidly about how the last two years may have changed their career and life trajectory, dealing with imposter syndrome, and the importance of loving who they work with. Moderated by Alexandra Chando with guests Yeardley Smith, Marina Cappi, Katie Cassidy, and Maria Bertrand.

Who Is Katie Cassidy?

Katherine Evelyn Anita Cassidy was born on November 25, 1986, in Los Angeles, California. Katie started her acting career in the TV series, "The Division". After that series, Katie never stopped working. She became a big name and gained the nickname scream queen for the horror movie "When a Stranger Calls" and many more. Her popularity rose even higher with fans when she starred in the TV series, "Supernatural" and then in her breakout role as Laurel Lance/Black Canary on the CW Network's series "Arrow".
