Katie Cassidy, Harlow Jane, Jasper Polish, Robert Davi, and Orange Is the New Black actress Jackie Cruz has boarded the romantic crime drama I Love Us, the fourth directorial outing for The Irishman star Danny A. Abeckaser, in which he also stars.
Jane and Polish will play daughters of veteran thief Sammy Silver (Abeckaser), while Cassidy will play their mother.
I Love Us, written by Kosta Kondilopoulos, sees Silver struggle to trade his criminal ways for married life after he falls in love with a single mother. The ensemble cast includes James Madio, Greg Finley, Courtney Lopez, and David James Elliot.
Abeckaser will direct I Love Us after earlier helming Mob Town, Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story, and First We Take Brooklyn.
The indie is produced by Abeckaser, Kyle Stefanski, Mike Hermosa, and Jeff Hoffman.
Cassidy, Ron Rofe, Isaac Gindi, Eddie Gindi, and Gustavo Nascimento share the executive producer credits.
